Analogy Association?

Anyone want to play Analogy Association?

Here’s how you play.

I start with -

Up : down

Left :

Then someone fills in the second term, and enters the resultant analogy, and the first term of a second one that has the same relationship.

Left : right (but it could be “arrived” or “to go” or “returned”)

This could lead to “liberal : conservative” or many other things, depending on the sense of the newly completed analogy and the (resultant) sense of the (resultant) new second analogy. And the perspective of the anaolgiser.

After “liberal : conservative”, we could see “stupid : smart” or “smart : stupid”. Or a lot of other things.

I have no idea if this would be fun, or not. Just occurred to me. Never played before. Haven’t thought it through. Would this work? Would it be fun, or funny? Do I simply have way too much free time?

faust : stoned

Analogies are the things I need to work on, faust.

I sense that my suggestion may not be taken seriously.

saitd - I think you need to enter the first term of a second analogy here.

You know what I mean?

I’m thinking this might not work.

You mean like this?

I think I’m just wicked stoned. I was thinking more in terms of paired opposites. To see where it goes.

Never mind.

Never : mind
