annoyances,

When reading posts it is the burden of the poster to make things clear. Mind reading takes a lot of energy, and it takes effort to superimpose your mind on someone else’s in order to understand convoluted writings.

So i am going to list some annoyances which deplete my energy when I read them.
Confusing meanings
Example

That statement could mean the opposite. Are photons formed before or after anything else? The train of thought wants us to follow that he was talking about the misperception, not the perception. Its sloppy and confusing.

A better formulated sentence would be

Now when large amounts of posts are formulated sloppily, with lazy references like I mentioned in the first quote, it gets tiresome to read. People focus too much on typos, which are largely harmless, and dont focus enough on conceptual formulation or readability.

People often either provide too little parables/analogies/examples, or too many parables/analogies with no connect to understanding. Both, too few parables, and too many parables, result in a disconnect from understanding.

There is alot of wordiness, use of fancy words that add nothing to the discussion. Clicking google search every line is tiresome, when there is a four letter word which could be used to describe it.

The worst offender are fancy words, which actually detract from the truth of the subject, words that have a vague meaning and sound fancy, but are not litteral and just add vaguity and confusion to the subject. This requires a very slow read and much personal projection and second guessing the author. Its very tiresome.

Ephemeral is an example of a good fancy word, because it donotes what it is, there is nothing vague about it. A bad fancy word would be “dualism”, because it has several different complex undefined meanings/interpretations and usually adds nothing to the discussion.

Another problem is word salad, wall of texts that give too many details on one simple subject. On the other hand, omitting details is just as bad. Some people try to sum up in a few lines what really should have took a decent paragraph.

My favorite format to use, is to start out with small lines, and then explore the same idea in different ways, attacking it from different angels, and different perspectives. The first paragraph should be the shortest, the last or near to last paragraph the largest, and the final endings paragraph wraps up the ideas.

other annoyances are when things are out right untrue, which reduce the angle of attack to choose from.
