another love poem...

I followed your steps in the cool sand of the beach

Your pace was gentle, slow

But now and again,

You played in the warm salt water

Your path disappearing

Into the crystal clear

Only to emerge further on

The splashes drying darkly in the evening breeze

The joy of the water evident in your stride

You stopped here, I wonder why

And then I see

The shell you picked up, looked at

And then returned to its resting place

And then you continued the walk

Around this point on the shore

That curved outta sight

In a way that left you wondering

What’s around that tree, that rock

And you have to keep going

Because you need to find

The answer to your question

It’s been a long walk

On this beach we found

On this journey of ours

This trip across this land

Exploring its beauty

Exploring our passions

For the world around us

And the passions

We have for each other

And then I see you

Sitting on a graying wind worn

Piece of driftwood

That the ocean has set there

Perfect to view its majesty

For you’ve come to the end of the point

There’s nothing but cliffs to one side

And the broad expanse of salty green sea

Spread before you

You are staring at the water

Thinking those thoughts

That you will later tell me

When I ‘m staring into your eyes

Our bodies entwined

Spent, and relaxed

After our passions for each other

Have been satisfied, for the moment

I leave you to be

Never letting you know

That I was the one

Who followed your footprints in the sand

I was the one who was drawn

To see where my love had wandered

In the warm evening light

In the cool ocean breeze

the best compliment i’ve got to give, bluepill: i wish i would have written this.

I liked your poem. Sex on the beach sounds romantic, but I think its illegal down here. So what is the law regarding sex on the beach in Canada? How is the weather up there? I thought it was cold.

tThank you so much…and the funny thing is, it’s about a lady in Atlanta…small world, lol

lol…they had sex back in the hotel…and that beach is the fantasy one I’ve talked to her of running away to
