Apostrophe = ’

A cat’s dinner.
A dog’s dinner.
Did those apostrophes show up ok ?
Anyone else having this problem ?

It could be something to do with the recent upgrade of the phpBB.

Could be something to do with text which has been copied and pasted from an external word-processing program perhaps? Apostrophes seem to be showing up ok so far on this thread ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ ’ 
I’m not sure why, but some apostrophes that were there before the upgrade became symbolly. New apostrophes aren’t affected, in my experience. If anyone’s username or rank is affected, I can fix them, just PM me.
It can be caused the setup in MySQL.
If you ask the question in phpbb/MySQL user forum or other technical forum, someone may tell you how to correct.
It can be as simple as issuing simple MySQL commands via web interface or shell command prompt.
