Do you mean aliens who have visited our planet or just in general? because if it’s the latter that’s a very bold statement to make 
given that space is probably infinite there is almost a 100% chance that life has reoccured somewhere else.

There’s nothing wrong with expressing your opinion, but if you can’t back it up with an argument or a shred of evidence or at least fill us in on why you believe what you believe, than it’s not philosophical and it’s not scientific even in the slightet.

My gut feeling is that there are no aliens, because it seems to me that the extraordinary string of chances and circumstances that enabled life to come about are so unlikely that they almost certainly only happened once, and hence our presence here, being able to talk about it and wonder. Our remote descendants, no longer human, may well populate the entire universe one day, becoming the aliens themselves.
The mass load of UFO reports and alien encounters are a different matter. I think these are probably manifestations of the same elemental forces that in the past people would have called elves, spirits or ghosts.
What if the aliens flying the UFOs around the Earths are a humanoid specie? What would this then imply about humanity on Earth?
I’m certain that monkeys and apes look at humans, with complete amazement. And we “evolved” from them. Don’t humans look with amazement at UFOs? Did UFOs evolve from us???

Keep in mind scientists have absolutely no empirical evidence as to the origin of life on earth. In the dozens of lab experiments they’ve conducted, they’ve never been able to prove life can spontaneous generate. All they’ve managed to accomplish is synthesize a few proteins or something, not DNA with thousands of genes. People don’t realize how complex bacteria are. Bacteria forming in a primordial ooze would be the equivalent of a computer forming in a tornado Yes, they seem to have evidence for evolution, although I’m not entirely convinced their theory of evolution is 100% accurate (not saying I believe in God either), but evolution and spontaneous generation are two entirely different theories, one doesn’t necessitate the other. I think a far more likely theory is that life arrived here from other planets, whether hitchhiking on meteors or alien spacecraft. If that’s the case, then life is far more widespread throughout the universe than we could’ve dreamed. Since we know bacteria can survive in subzero temperatures for millions of years, even though we have no physical evidence proving life can hitchhike on meteors from other planets (well, if you discount all those meteors they found with “rocks” in them that looked exactly like microbes), I think it’s still a far more plausible theory than spontaneous generation.
Or, were evles, goblins and trolls, not the same men we’ve been seeing from outer space, interpreted through a different cultural lense?
If you propose the theory that life evolved somewhere other than earth, then all you’re doing is shifting the question to another place. It had to evolve somewhere, and there is no evidence whatsover that it evolved anywhere else other than earth.
I think it’s far more likely, given, for example, the relative time spans involved, that it’s us, with our modern, technological society, who are interpreting an ancient phenomenon through our own cultural lens.
Perhaps we devolved from them, we’re so used to thinking in terms of evolution, life beginning simply and becoming ever more sophisticated, what if sometimes it worked in reverse? Perhaps we came here long ago in search of wealth and resources, built an astonishingly advanced civilization to extract the resources from this planet, than it collapsed, due to mismanagement, incompetence, warfare and decadence. Then, we had to devolve more primitive, animalistic traits, suitable for our new environment without machines and sophisticated robots and gadgets to rely on. Perhaps the negroids devolved from us? It’s possible all traces of our prior civilization were wiped out thousands or millions of years ago, as everything in our modern society, except maybe plastic, would not survive for tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of years. Perhaps these men we see in the sky, are ourselves, and their looking down at us from the heavens, laughing it us, amazed at how we were able to fuck things up so drastically.
