Are people god-obsessed?

God symbolizes infinite good power and resources.

I believe that many people in society become God-obsessed because God seems to hold the key to everything.

Most religions offer a salvation if we obey the rules.
God is seen as the cure for all human problems.
Heaven is seen as a place of pure pleasure, peace and delight.

Well “God” stuff has been around since the dawn of time and human problems also have existed ever since knowable history.

I do not know why human beings are so religious. I consider it a human failing, such as humans being cruel in certain cases aswel.

I think they believe in “God” allot less in general.

They don’t believe in a higher good to attain, instead they believe in attaining things without regard for people’s feelings.

On the other hand, there can be people who are super religious but are assholes at the same time.
