Conversations with God says that it’s not so important how your message is received, as how well it is sent. I think the battle ground scenario arises from people trying to convince themselves of something through others. People who are insecure about what they’re trying to say. Maybe not, but one way or another, it comes down to ego.
I think if you really know what you’re talking about the arguments of others don’t threaten you. You can see where they’re coming from. So someone with actually something to say wouldn’t dally with them.
