Arrested..for being black on a Sunday night

no im not black actually

i was arrested (first time) in front of the Coldplay concert last night for mouthing off a little bit.
all that i did was i was waiting out front for my friend to meet me with my ticket. i was fuckin TRASHED cause id been pre-gaming for like 2 hours with my friends (big group, drove seperately).
but actually i dont know what happened because my memory goes out when i first start speaking with the cop until i can remember lying down hog-tied in the back of a cop van.
i spoke with the cops (after i got to the prison) and asked them what i did that got me in there. they said that i was being disrepespecful and uncooperative. they made up false charges that i was trying to enter the concert with a fake ticket (i was in no possesion of any kind of ticket).

im sure i was definitely mouthin off because the cop was probably just being an asshole and i was beligerent as fuck.
but thats not enough to get arrested for. i feel violated, used and abused.

they hurt me when i got to the prison. they put me in a holding cell in the processing area. i waited and they eventually let me out to make a phonecall. i get out there and ask them why im in jail and whatnot. they said i was charged with trespassing (WHAT!?!??!) so i ask them if i can see my cell phone to get a number to make a phonecall with. at that point they put me in a headlock (out of no where) and took me to the ground (three cops on me, im 19yrs, 5’7’', and weigh 135 lbs), started twisting my arm and i will qoute what happened

Me: Stop, please your hurting me!
Cops: Stop Resisting!!!
Me: I’m not resisting!!
Cops: Thats right you aren’t motherfucker

then they throw me back in my cell.

i wake up on the cold concrete floor to a lady cop. in the morning feeling a bit refreshed (ready to kick ass and take names :sunglasses: ). they let me out of the cell and into the actual processing area (its a big room with a shitload of seats and fuckin sketchbags and child molestors walking around, gettin mug shots, finger prints, released, transferred, you know all the processing shit)

so i catch sight of this cute girl who looks a bit out of place =P~ , to cute to be in that place (so am i). so i need to talk to someone sane, so i take a seat next to her and tell her my story and ask her about hers (shes 25 and got a DUI the previous night), she doesnt seem like a sketchpad like the rest of these people though, shes actually super cool. we talk for like 2 hours and then we’re sleeping on eachother (everybodys in there is watching this happen) cause we’re both tired as fuck, like our heads resting on eachother and i say to her “Your trying to take advantage of me.” and then she kisses me. then she puts my hand on her leg and starts rubbing it all over.
HAHHAH!!!
so like 2 seconds later this cop rolls over and is like, “Yo buddy, you cant be molesting this girl”, he takes me and her to seperate holding cells where i am detained for another 6 hours.
why am i here in the first place?

eventually i get bailed by my folks, everythings fine, no biggie.

true story by the way
seriously…fuck the police!!!

OMG!

i wanna say something:you didnt screw with cops(while your were presumably drunk off your then surly ass,but i’;m not even up to date enough to know exactly what trashed means),you didnt screw with ‘the law’, you screwed with human beings with authority. that is scary shit.

we had all kinds seemingly exagerated scenarios we made up,and now we slowly find all these ridiculusly antagonistic scenarios are coming true.
it is like simpsons cop stuff.

bah, the whole lot arent to be trusted. i fear docters even more. so much damn neglejants.(and no i dont damnwell know how to spell neglejants. bloody critics!!!)

you are hearing this from someone who is basically a hermit, not that this is a bad thing, but i’m not so experienced with this shit.

I have had a similar experience.
Anyone who believes the cops are there for any purpose than to screw with people is a poor mistaken fool who is lucky enough to not have met an asshole on a bad day that can lock you up in a cell and cause you some physical pain if they feel like with no possible repercussions.
That, or they’re the kind of suck up who when they see a cop is all 'hello sir, why thankyou sir. Another beating? oh please sir!"

Screw it. The World’s messed up.
Get disillusioned as fast as you can, and then you won’t be surprised when life throw’s you razor blades.
But when it does, make a weapon and knife the bugger.

No offence but if you were sincerely trying to get into a Coldplay concert then police brutality is exactly what you deserved…

Preach it brother Doorman. Truest statement this month.

If you don’t know that “mouthin off” to an officer of the Peace and being “beligerent as fuck” are antisocial behaviours at the age of 19, you have learning difficulties - the sort that the State wishes to educate out of you by having you feel precisely “violated, used and abused.”

The world is full of other people. Once you step outside of your space and enter into a communal area, you have to respect certain codes of conduct or you will be removed from that area because other people won’t want you there. It is not difficult to abide by the ways of the law. If you find it difficult, take some time to try and understand why? Or you will be removed from the area time and time again. And no one will pity you - those that seem as though they do, are really only bemoaning an imperfect State.

I have dealt with cops for years and a dumber, more
anti-social group of psychopaths cannot be found.
They are the kids in school who got beaten up and
they swore revenge and became cops to feel big again.
I feel anybody who wants to be a cop should
automatically be disqualified from being one.
A true story from some east coast city or state,
a guy tried to become a cop and they denied him
because he scored too high on the IQ test.
The number he had was like, 125 or something like that,
I mean a really low score and he had too high of an IQ.
That should tell you everything you need to know about
cops, they are stupid psychopaths. As you can tell, cops
don’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Kropotkin

I imagine it may well be true that a dumber, more anti-social group of psychopaths to be found… are criminals.

The cops can, and will, do things to be people who have violated no law.
Causing offence is not illegal and nor should it be.
Mouthing off and being belligerant as fuck are exactly the kind of actions that democratic societies supposedly uphold.
Ofcourse, while the cops can and will do things to people who have committed no crime, there are still plenty of things which are illegal that such scum have no right to have under their jurisdiction.

Mr.The In Seed. You are either ignorant, or you are scum that I would gladly fight. Ofcourse, when I say gladly fight I mean either in defence of either myself or another person that you are attempting to impose upon.
But then, I doubt you are the kind of person who would actually impose on others (with more than words), I suspect you are spineless and know it. Just a cheerleader for your big burly heroes.

Fuck the State, if anyone comes to my door trying to sell me one I’ll tell them I don’t need one.

Also, Peter Kropotkin, 125 is actually a reasonable IQ score, it is not “really low”, it is a fair way above average.

noneedforaname:

K: now you may consider 125 reasonable, but to me, its low.
Ah, the curse of intelligence.

Kropotkin

You might mean lower, but that is not the same as low.

If democratic societies supposedly uphold the kinds of actions exactly being: “mouthing off and belligerence” i.e. antisocial behaviour, then they are rather self-destructive democratic societies that we are considering, don’t you think?

…the sort that breed folk who will tell them “Fuck the State…I don’t need one.” after citing what democratic societies supposedly uphold to justify their opinions?

Of course the cops can and will do things to people who have violated no law. But then so can anyone. As they would more so without cops.

The State (of things) is not perfect. But if you are going to tear it down cops and all, what will state claim in its place?
Fuck the State, go ahead - remove cops from society completely in an instant. What happens?
Riot.
And with what you don’t need gone? A dark tide of degeneracy spreads from the ‘bad part of town’ to your door, without a knock and without the warranted word of the law.

‘Here comes the story of a hurricane…’

I would have to disagree with this part of your statement.

Now, I know that I am partially bias, but I’m trying to leave that part out of it.

I have several family members who are police officers or something similar. One captain, 2 sarge’s, 3 footmen of varying title, 2 park rangers, and a very small smattering of others I can’t recall off the top of my head. But, wanting to be a police officer, or other law enforcing official, should not automatically disqualify anyone. There are many people out there who do it, because they feel it is the right thing to do. That it is a necessary job for the times we live in. There are definitely some bad cops out there. I don’t think anyone would dispute that. But they’re not all bad. Just because you haven’t run into the good ones, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

I do think more testing of some sort should be done to qualify as one of these officials as the rigors of dealing with “bad” people constantly can have some very negative effects on one’s personality. I’m sure there are several cops who were good and “driven” to badness by having to deal with a lot of the people they dealt with. Not everyone can handle that all the time. So I think better evaluation is needed, but they are still very necessary.

trust me im not anti-social…
i was drunk, but really this was a bit out of character for me to conduct myself in front of an officer this way.

im not some dude tryin to be badass who looks for a fight with the police whenever he gets a chance.

just to clear all that up.
but i do have a smart mouth and need to learn to keep it shut.

…knew i was getting one of those comments…

REAL CLEVER BUDDY =D>

but seriously no offense taken. (even if you wanted to offend me)

A number of my students have been police officers, and they were all men and women I would personally want to save my ass if I needed it. And I’ve had numerous dealings with COPs for various reasons and have almost always felt okay with the outcome. Yes, there are bad COPs out there–some who started out that way, others who became so. Yes, there are some who should not be COPs from the start–there are tests to screen them out, but a COP with moderate intelligence can present him/herself well enough not to get “caught” by the test.

But speaking as someone who had a number of run-ins with the COPs as a teen, and who is lucky I didn’t get my teeth handed to me for some of the shit I pulled with them, I have no sympathy for you, Kebop. You drink till you can’t even remember what you’re doing then you deserve to get whatever happens to you–end of story.

I’m no prude, BTW. I have taken more chemicals and alcohol than you’ll ever do, I’m sure. And I have done stupid things, though I’ve never blacked out or not remembered what happened–okay, details might be fuzzy/distorted, and it might be days/weeks/months later when I remember a segment of the story (or, more often, someone reminds me… ). The point is, I take full responsibility for my irresponsibility. If I mouth off to a COP who’s got tens of thousands of wasted idiots around him, as is typically the case at a concert, I accept what happens. Stupid is as stupid does.

Maybe you learned an important lesson, Kebop. It could have been worse. And by your own admission, you don’t know exactly what went down, right? You were “TRASHED.” So who the fuck knows what you said. Your liquid courage may have caused you to challenge the COP, and he responded in kind. Now, the part about the trumped up charges ain’t cool at all and I’d fight that shit.

But everything else is a lesson to be learned. Otherwise, you’re just a whiny bitch who thinks he’s man enough to get “TRASHED” and lose total control–would you have been so “brave” if you were alone and not with a bunch of equally fucked up friends?–but who cries to momma when his stupidity comes back to bite him in the ass.

Sorry to have no sympathy for ya, Kebop. But the sooner you learn to stop being an idiot, the lower your chances of having something really bad happen to you. Actually, I was nearly 19 when I did one of the stupidest things in my life and paid dearly for it. That taught me a lesson I’ll never forget and I sure smartened up after that–at least in that regard…I still find different ways of being stupid, even today sometimes…

Bottom line: take responsibility for your extreme idiocy…

i was all alone when i was talking to the cop…just for the record.

but i dont think im some badass at all, i know that im an idiot for doing that.

yeah that was the first time for me. and it definitely wasnt the most wasted id ever been. the reason i blacked out, is because obviously the idioctic disrespect towards the officer wasnt something i had thought out very well and my brain fuckin turned off as my mouth turned on.

i take responsibilty for my idiocy…but fuck the police anyway, assholes.

Well, I’m glad that you can admit to your idiocy, even when I wrote as harshly as I did–if you were defensive in your response or tried to waffle in any way, I would have known that any type of “learning” alluded to in your original or subsequent messages would have been bogus. That’s a very good sign.

I just hope you do try your best to avoid losing control of yourself and your judgment like that again. All it takes is once to end up either dead or doing something that you’ll regret forever. I was too stupid to recognize this truth, despite coming very close many times to realzing such horrible consequences. It got to the point where I was feeling like I was “untouchable” b/c I always managed to come out of things alive and usually unscathed. Most of us outgrow this by our teens, and as mentioned, one particular close call did smarten me up.

However, this “untouchable” attitude persisted even into my 30’s–even though the context and type of stupidity was very different from when I was younger. So again, as long as you can treat this as a learning experience–which you appear to have done by taking full responsibility and recognizing that you got off relatively easy since you’re still alive–you’re ahead of the game…

Fuck I’m getting old… :imp: Oy, are my girls are going to think I was so tight when I was young… #-o
