I speak not of your “value”.
I will speak only temporally, and of your sacrificial “price”.
How many beings had to live and die in order to produce this very moment and this very era? How many years, and oh, how many forgotten hours hath it all taken in order to accomplish? How hot must the stars keep burning? And how long must the seeds all keep splitting, if there is to be this moment and tomarrow!
It’s strange to me, I realize my meger existence came at an incredible price, but perhaps that’s a bit of a temporal illusion? What is being payed? And isn’t it all payed out yet? Is it not impoverished by its unfathomably large payment…? Or doth it take, eventually, just as much as it gave!?
Is our present life of a neutral circular price, or is it of a vast temporal price? And why did nature even bother for so long with all of this?
During my sadder times, I spake bitterly unto mother-earth for her constantly eating her own children. So many species, so many individuals, all extinct and forgotten. Destruction and creation never out-running one-another. The wheel merely turns in no particular direction. It was chaos, and not evolution!
But I wonder… Shall it really “evolve” passed the earth?
Shall it really “evolve” passed its cyclic self-overcoming, one day?
Is some superhuman era on the horison of 2040? In which some magical exponent of future-technology renders us all into a state of truth? And once that truth is had, will it be seen as an unamusing sub-factor?
Oh, I still think it will be chaos, just like it was chaos for the millions of years before now, and just as it was all chaos during the very birth of our whole physical reality. If I dare be optamistic or pesamistic, that bias shall divide and cut up my equanimity and my panperspectives…
