Autonomy vs. Determinism debate in Personality

Just revising for exams and there will be one question on the Personality exam paper, surrounding the Autonomy vs. Determinism debate.
I’m stuck on this I dont know what to write or how to structure the essay. I know it includes all the personality theories, but the lecturer told us not to include description of theories. So what the heck do I write about?

Please help me asap. All help will be appreciated thanks.

This may be a dice shoot, but it sounds as if the lecturer wants personal opinion. Play pro or con and use your own experiences as explanation of a postion. Even dicier would be to show how both positions have occurred in your experiences. This may or may not work.
