The possibility of this happening nowadays is slim to nil. Then by chance, the two children got wrong identification tags and were sent home with the wrong parents.
Now this is the conumdrum:
After a period of time…say several of months to several years it comes to the attention of the hospital that those children were accidently switched shortly after birth and they tell both sets of parents. Should it make a difference that the children are not biologically specific to the mothers and fathers? Should they love the children as much as if they were their own and not consider an exchange?
Please think on this carefully before answering.
