I’m a novice. [go ahead take your shot(s) my f(r)iends]
I’m looking for the best reads with regards to will + force. Any suggestions on how I could begin… don’t worry about the difficulty in reading–so long as the material is superb!

the leviathan- hobbes
world as will and idea - schopenhauer
will to power - nietzsche
either/or - kierkegaard
on liberty - mill

Imp, thanks for the suggestions. I will pick these up from the library over the weekend–unless a couple of these are worth buying, which two?
Question: Who is the best or most influential philosopher in the last 25 years?

they are all worth owning… and it will take you far more than a weekend to digest any one of them…
recent philosophers? that depends on the branch… but I’d suggest derrida…

I wasn’t going to read all of them over the weekend (not even one of them). I am merely going to pick them up! I will take my time to digest the info.
