I’ve admired your poetry, among others. You and the other “regular” posters of poetry have really made me feel comfortable proffering my meager offerings to The Muse. I’m gaining a new appreciation for ILP.
…great use of scientific terms relaevent to the metaphor of your poem: binary stars; gravity; photons; satellites; decaying…orbits; strong [nuclear] force; and for the finale, strange attraction. Again, you are a master of poetic images.
–how many parsecs to your home world, friend? I might disengage hyper-drive on my mothership to stop in for a brief visit before the cryo-tanks fire up the suspended animation cocoons on my way to Andromeda - sure gets lonely on these intergallactic voyages.
