books n the internet

recently, i had a friend of mine complain that all his reading assignments in his classes were not found on the internet (spark/cliffs notes, synopsis or analysis)

do you think it would be a detriment to learning the material itself if it was made readily available online (as opposed to actually having to read and comprehend)?

Ask him if he wants to borrow Wittgy’s Brown and Blue books.

But seriously, he’s complaining that he might actually have to read the assigned material?

This is your friend, your talking about, right?

Riiiiight?

Generations have had to actually read the assigned material. Somehow civilisation has survived, children are born, sweaters get knitted.

It’s hard to sign on to this one.
