This is going to intimidate forigners in reporting crime. Brazil is a hotbed of crime, including kidnapping ransoms… this shit isn’t exactly unknown. I don’t think any Brazilian is looking at this saying “This is unbelievable, this sort of thing just doesn’t happen in Brazil”… that sort of shit happens constantly in Brazil.
