BUFFALO

What does this mean short of the obvious?

It’s the ultimate question to ‘42’.

Buffalo is a catchy word, it caught my attention.

By the way, Arcturus, the new name caught my eye too.
Descending is a big word, it can mean a lot of different things, depending on our mood.
My first image was an eagle descending into the River for a trout. Pure badass.

Hi Sky. How have you been?
When I think of the word ‘buffalo’, the first image which comes to me is the herd stampeding and out of control.
But I also see before me the strength and endurance of a powerful animal with its head, proud and erect.

I wanted to change the name from arising to descending first of all because I’ve done enough soaring…though I still have my moments. I think descending adds a bit more balance. Descending to me is not so much a big word as one which conjures up depth. Depth of thinking - and going deeper deeper deeper into thought trying to discover what really lies beneath. Almost sounds spooky, doesn’t it, in a wonderful exciting way. I think of a stone thrown into a pond which begins the rippling affect. That stone descends deeper deeper deeper deeper deeper deeper through the waters (I haven’t quite gotten there yet, Sky). I love that as a form of meditation but at some point it becomes difficult to hold to that stone falling…Descending is a process. Isn’t it something how everything is a process? When I am able to think in that way, I am not in such a hurry to get where I am going or upset that I may not be able to let go of where I have been…immediately Can we even be?

The image of the Sky is as vast as the waters are deep. And I liked your name, Sky Bear, a lot.
I liked that image of the eagle. An eagle is quite some bear in the sky.
Perhaps in a parallel universe, the bear and the eagle are friends.
