On a scale of 1-5, 1 being “not a wit” and 5 being “not a planck sphere” - how much does it matter?
I like patterns.
Pattern sketch: I am an atypical female (jeans, t-shirt, zip-up hoodie sweater, dark colors, male wallet in back pocket, no purse, hair is in pony tail or parted down the middle & unstyled) who is not marriage material (divorced & enjoying celibate individuality) & past child bearing age (miss my grandson, and my two out-of-state sons & their wives). I have not stayed physically in shape & I practice hygiene when I have to go somewhere (rare) or can’t stand it anymore. I am here strictly to scratch nerd itches among those of similar bent.

Why? is a human question.
There is no why outside human brains.
‘Why’ expresses a need to be given a purpose and meaning.
‘Meaning’ is all around you, if you properly define the word…and ‘purpose’ is something only you can provide for yourself.
if your purpose is something other than seeing the world as it is, then you do not belong in philosophy, but in spirituality or religion.
If you need another to validate or give you a purpose then you are asking for a leader, a mentor, a lover, or a father.
I gave my virtual history in the Username change request thread. I am no longer She™️ anywhere… not trying to escape anything. It’s just an old version. I changed my mind in too many ways. Different species now, so to speak.
As for the rest of what you said… if you just wanna make sh** up, then you are not a lover of wisdom. Philosophers are those who want to get at the real. We never fully get at it. There’s always More to discover.
I have an appreciation for folks with a certain set of thought-untangling skills… seeing as mine come at me so fast & furious they collide & twist & before you know it … rats & spiders everywhere … It’s embarrassing when it comes time for expressing them.
