I just had a burst of some thoughts… thought i would share and ask what you think about the various things.
Why does God hide knowledge from us?
If given all knowledge, what would there be to learn?
Without learning, what would there be to life?
Why does God hide himself from us?
He’s getting over his shyness from having never met someone before creation.
No really: Because life is about learning.
He doesn’t, its just hard to notice something that has always been there.
Like the taste of the spit in your mouth.
Why does he not act so that the blind can sense him?
Why does he not prove for us that he exists?
So that we learn to act righteously without fear of him.
Because to truly know God would be to know all things.
And to know all would leave us with nothing to learn.
And with nothing to learn there is nothing to life.
Boredom is the omniscient one’s curse.
Given the power surely one would forget at least something.
If the apple causes you to forget then surely it is a food of God.
What has God forgotten?
That he is God?
That we are God?
That he knows everything?
Non-existence?
Hate?
What boredom is like?
Everything?
I asked him, he said he wasn’t sure…
There are some things that are not desirable to forget.
Surely there are a few things God gave us to start with.
(To gain knowledge you must have knowledge, as to make money you must have money. Unless given.)
By eating the apple it is God we chose to forget. For what else could be the most beautiful knowledge to gain?
Why are we not born knowing God?
If we already knew him we wouldn’t have the pleasure of meeting him.
Why did God not give us all the good things?
How else would there be anything to gain?
Without gain, what would there be to life?
There are two types of people in the world; teachers and students, and we are all a little bit of both.
