I think it lies in the technological applications of physics, things like nuclear fusion and antimatter containment. We need new, practical technology to lift the burden on fossil feuls. If we can find a way to enable deep space propulsion/ exploration in the process, possibly discovering and colonizing earth-like planets (so as to perpetuate a mass migration of our species and ease the burden on fragile earth), then so much the better. Dr. Bussard and friends are working on it. Are you? What do you think?
Compared to Dr. Bussard’s research, it’s a waste of money. I admit that I’m ignorant of much of the physics involved here- part of my reason for posting this thread was the hope that someone more versed in the physics literature than I would step up to the podium…
So let me get this straight. You have no idea how any of this will work, yet you are somehow certain that your “charity” that has only posted fancy looking pictures is definitely much more worth the money invested in it than an international coalition hiring the most skilled scientists of all the world?
All told, it doesn’t make my post less signicant than 99% of the other posts here. It wouldn’t kill you to look into the research a bit, buddy. They’re doing some truly amazing things, that anyone and everyone can understand,
It’s not as simple as “invent free-energy, save humanity and planet earth”
There have been many free-energy technologies already developed. Their developers were either bought out or shot. I’m serious. So when you go to REALLY save humanity, you’ll probably get shot, because to cure the sickness you must kill the disease… though the disease is rich, powerful and fast-moving.
