There is only one thing wrong: California to the US is like the US to the world, in terms of the economy. Then Trump would realize his mistake and beg Hilary for mercy for the behemoth economic powerhouse that California is, could easily bankrupt the US, just
as China could. The Chinese-California connection
could be easily overlooked by Trump.

If that were to happen, no form of money could re statute the US economy, cause it could not survive an economic sphincter from China, California, and perhaps even Mexico. Instead of a wall isolating Mexico and California, the US would find itself in the sorry position of reverse isolation.

K: California is the 6th largest economy in the world and ahead of most nations including
I might add France… so the fact is the US needs California far more then we need
the nation… I suggest 45 treats us with respect or we could make living in the US very difficult…

I really can’t see California even truly thinking about it no matter what the polls say. That is a whole lot of work for people that seem to be predominantly laid back and easy going.

How laid-back can you be, when soldiers are dragging your neighbours - or worse, your employees! - into the street and loading them in cattle-cars?
Some peoples have managed to keep their equanimity in that circumstance; others have not.
It only depends on the level of provocation.

That’s nice. Nevertheless, the polling shows that 1/3 support it. It’d be cool if CA voted to leave the United States, AND voted to become a sanctuary state. Then we could all just go to California, get up to all the crime we want, and the cities wouldn’t tell the California feds we were there!
