Can cooperation occur without a state?

I’ve been holding back, there is no doubt about it. I was once Pureasonist who threw out futuristic posts beyond general acception, or more so receiption. You see, Pureasonist was expelled as a result for not staying in contemparory time and space. Now, Uniqor learns from experience and has been holding back quite a bit. Things are getting out smoother and smoother recently through the Nietzsche channel, not excluding a personal sacrifise. There is something within that I have to hold back but meanwhile must keep it alive and kicking. When the time is ripe, the dam will burst and the flow will bury even the Nietzsche channel below. Pureasonist will be restored then, his will to power revenged. Amen.

Well, Nietzscheans are known for sudden bursts of intellectual strength and candor. One does not remain stupid for long when reading Nietzsche.

Uniqor might be such a case.

Meanwhile though, I’m happy being the improving Uniqor.

It is okay to take some secrets to the grave with you, my friend.

Anyway, its settled.

PoR, and now Uniqor, are the two most progressive members I have witnessed in my time at ILP. The distance they have covered and the degree of personal growth they have demonstrated has not been matched by anything I have seen, including myself.

All hail PoR and Uniqor!

Cooperation occurs without a state, for the simple reason that cooperation occurs AGAINST the state.

Revolutions, the black market, smuggling, drug trade, and bootlegging are all examples of people cooperating despite opposition from a state. If the state was required for cooperation, it stands to reason that its opposition would end cooperation.

Of course a less dramatic example might be the cooperation amongst early American settlers or the cooperation found in Amish communities. Or perhaps even the cooperation amongst that south american soccer team when deciding how to deal with cannibalism. They did not descend into chaos, though they were utterly without a state to govern them.
