Can God print money?
If he can, are there any known instances of God printing money?
If he cannot, why do people say he can do anything?
If he can but chooses not to, why would he not print money?
Are there cases where people have won a bunch of money which are referred to as “God printing money”?

Anything you can do God can do… better.

Are you saying if employees of the US treasury can print money, then God can also print money? If so, where does he print it?

so mutcer you dont believe in god…
it is almost irrelevant…

The same places that everyone else does it… literally.

Well, it depends on your definition of “God”.
Some people believe in their God, but not in the God which other people believe in. Does that mean that those people believe in God? Or do they just believe in their God?

What’s the speed limit in heaven?
Can I get a speeding ticket in heaven?
What kind of gas consumption can I expect - city, highway, heaven, hell?

mutcer------people have different ideas about god…
what is the problem…do you want everybody to believe like you…

Of course God can print money. People worship the makers of money these days.

world wide money for the worldwide global mall for goods and services…god cant print money…

The same reason you don’t print Monopoly money.

Excellent response =D>

Is this about inflation?

I trust you realise that if anyone printed loads of money:
(a) if an equal amount was given to everyone, inequality would temporarily lessen in proportion to the amount shared between everyone, prices would shoot up to match the amount of money going around, and worst of all, the currency would be devalued in proportion to how much money was introduced into the system. *

If you’re American then your dollar bills would just be discontinued and replaced by hundred/thousand/million dollar bills (in proportion to how much money was introduced) yet the new note would afford you the same as the dollar bill you had before.

(b) if loads of money were printed and given to everyone in proportion to how rich they already were, literally nothing would happen to anyone’s richness - prices would still shoot up to match the amount of money in the system and the currency would still be devalued just the same.

(c) even if loads of money were printed and given to everyone in proportion to how poor they were before, things would still revert to how they were before, in time - only with the currency more devalued than before with so much more money in the system.

So why would “God” want to print money when it would have absolutely no effect?

  • Currency devaluation completely screws international trade - which is absolutely essential to modern day operations. As prices shoot up to match the amount of money in the system, everyone exhanges your currency in invest in another and trades with them instead. Your country loses all its international purchasing power and can no longer function…

…so if “God” printed loads of money he’d actually be sending a curse to those who used the money.

If “God” wanted to change something by printing money, he’d alter the free market Capitalist system first.

But but… you’re saying that the fed banking system isn’t God? Coulda fooled me . . .

Again, Mutcer.
