Capitalist Ideology

Capitalist Ideology

The idea of being “successful”, of being a winner, the idea that you are not supposed to be a normal “9 to 5” worker, that you are supposed to invent the next great breakthrough, that you are supposed to be able to get rich with the right skill set, the right work ethic, that there is so much to do, that you are not allowed to and not supposed to be content doing nothing at all and excepting that fact that life is just an empty monotonous void with very little to really do, well this brainwashing ideology has hosed untold millions in the clusterfkd Western Civilization.

We should worship DEATH, we should worship total NON-ACTIVITY, we should worship TOTAL BOREDOM, TOTALLY STATIC AND SIMPLE LIFESTYLES, instead we push millions of people to work hard (even though what they really do is almost nothing at all, although it is masked and hidden really well, like all the idiotic Finance Industry, Insurance Industry and Health Care industry parasites) with the illusion and scam that they too, “will become a winner”, “will become rich”, will be superior to the mass of failed losers that most people are.

What this system generates in the end are millions of losers, frustrated losers who think they didn’t “work hard enough”, “study hard enough”, they didn’t apply themselves enough etc. The truth is this brainwashing serves only to make corporations richer by making people work ever harder, with less pay and more sacrifice with the great hope and illusion that they “will make it”. It generates a GUILT COMPLEX society where you are always doing something wrong if you “didn’t make it”. The only real skill that society needs is the ability to work more and ever harder for less and less pay, possibly up to the point of working 4 McJobs for 100 dollars a month, then you will have become absolutely successful in your “skills set”. In technology, companies are always inventing new useless systems, jargons, software just to increasingly confuse people, to justify the fact that the old workers no longer can pull it off, you need the new kids who know the “new technology” when a 50 year old engineer who has 25 years of experience DOESN’T HAVE THE RIGHT SKILL SET. How on earth can it not be seen that this is an incredible SCAM, that in no way a kid can possibly be worth more than a 50 year old engineer ? It can be done because there is no value in any of the work that is done in the west, it is all imaginary and useless work. The 50 year old engineer should have become “A MANAGER” another example of a totally imaginary function, most managers just manage time, just have to put in the time of 12 hours a day since time is the only thing that can be measured, as an index of success.

Notice how when companies lay off workers in manufacturing, the first thing the workers have to do is “go back to school”, “learn a new skill set”, as if there really is any new skill set that will ever pay them even close to what they where making before. This is a scam, this is a subtle psychological manipulation to make the layed off workers feel as if they have somehow, somewhere along the line “failed”, that they have been inadeguate, that they must update their skills. How on earth is it possible that people don’t see how false all this is ? How is it possible to not see that while that old worker was working in that factory for years, there were thousands of people working and perfecting any of the hundreds of skills the old worker must “now master” to “compete”. He will never and can never compete against anyone who has been doing those skills for years, but they continue to chant the old mantra, “go back to school”, learn a new skill set. This is just a system for schools to make money BY SELLING ILLUSIONS.

This is convenient to companies that can put the blame of the current situation squarely on the back of the layed off workers.

This idea of a person having to be a winner, an exception, that everyone must strive to be a winner is a scam, an illusion people believe in, A TOTAL DELUSION. Almost no one at all will be a winner, most will be average workers, the system generates a few winners and millions of losers, but the west keeps on saying how good it is, how correct it is supposed to be.

In fact people want to delude themselves so much that they were willing to buy McMansions and huge debts with the illusion of being able to pay it, because they thought they were special, “they made it and were successful”, when this generated the subprime mess.

In a simple society people worked the land or did what they had to and that it is, there was no skill set to learn, no measuring the time it took to do the activities a society needed, what we have generated in the modern West is a subtle psychological warfare against people.

We must learn to accept that life is a total void, that 99% of the time we live there is absolutely nothing at all to do, that we shouldn’t have to have to do anything at all but just exist, that we should worship everything that doesn’t move, that is totally dead, WE SHOULD LOVE A PURE MONOTONOUS VOID!

Life is and should always be a complete 100% MONOLITHIC, MONOTONOUS TOTAL VOID. We should worship absolute nothingness, absolute vacuum. Just get over the idea of always trying and stop all activity, everything must tend towards becoming perfectly still. Just deal with it, DEAL WITH THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

Some people do see it but realize that they are powerless and are merely cogs in a great machine (some choose to leave for other places); others have been fed bullshit from the cradle and do not see it because that’s all they know.
In the end, this can go only so far before people will start pushing back.

And that is the point. You would like perfect equilibrium, no changes or challenges like old communism, but that won’t ever be possible even if everyone agreed to try their best for total non-change. There will always be some quirk conflict, some non-equilibrium, and it is true that capitalism and its ideology are an excuse to justify an arbitrary inequality between people, but this inequality will always emerge, whether through dictators, or shear force, or shear individual behaviors of millions of quirk oddball people everyone is. Man is mostly an irrational clusterfkd animal that will always be creating havoc, no matter what. And even if he reached a perfect solid state civilization in a technological singularity or matrix of virtual reality, any quantum fluctuation of an electron could bust the equilibrium or some meteorite or anything at all. And then all things change and are static, it just depends on the unit of time you use. In a trillion years all things will change, in a picosecond everthing we observe macroscopically is perfectly still.

I think you’re preaching to the choir here.

Now how about dragging a fat American out of his SUV and beating him to death with his laptop computer.

Then disappear into the mountains forever, growing roots and knitting.

hey 301 are you a Taliban ? or alkaeda ? explain yourself…

oh, come off it! this must be the most free forum in the world! just look at all the insanity people write here! It is free press, western democracy style free press and thought, you can say anything you want. It won’t change much of anything, but it keeps you thinking at least …

Unless you’re under 13 years of age; then you’re the victim of ILP’s collaboration with COPPA oppression.

I think it’s if you’re under 13. Or, if you’re under 13 and you put your real age. I dunno. How will we be victimized?

Many people are losers. They swill beer watching American Idol, but they don’t have the first clue about how the government functions and therefore rips them off with ease. Rips them off that is if they wanted freedom rather that a government tit. But way too many have willingly sold their birthright for a few ill-conceived and even more poorly executed bureaucratic butt-wiping programs.

Ok everybody, face away from Washington, drop trou and bend over.

(What did that op have to do with capitalism?)

At least in the USA, more so than EU, JAPAN the idea is I’ll give you everything you don’t really need, but be very stingy with what you really need. So you have mega malls and comsumerism but health care costs more and more, job security is disappearing and reasonable housing disappears. But in the EU and JAPAN house costs are top, but anyways the system always reaches the same equilibrium, somewhere you have to pay some basics more and more.
