Ecmandu was banned repeatedly for his conduct around the time of this thread (the post linked in the OP is made by a sockpuppet used to circumvent his bans, which was permanently banned in turn).
But this thread was about your abuse of authority as moderator, which to me rhymes better with the current state of the world.
