Catholic Clergy - Re-forming Orders

cnsblog.wordpress.com/2010/05/01 … of-christ/

In my opinion the Catholic clergy has always been an obvious haven for homosexuals
a place to teach children and find meaning in their lives
tho most are devotedly true to their vows
a few rotten apples always spoil the barrel
it will take time to recover their dignity

Pity they never had a yogi come and teach them the spiritual dynamics of celibacy and kundalini yoga

A new Order should get off the pulpit
go back into the field with a new mission
They need to get with a New Age of ontological spirituality
and do what is right
by becoming mentor uncles and aunts to orphans of the world

Not likely anything you are going to look for will occur.
What is going to take place is a re-establishment of the older Orthodox principles that have been augmented and stripped away over time to make Catholicism more easily fit into the social paradigm of the modern eras that it has been moving through since the second quarter of the 20th century.

In a way, I respect this.
People may greatly dislike the Catholic Orthodox stance of old, but it’s more authentic to it’s nature than the newer variations and addendum of Catholicism.

I appreciate religions that are established taking a stance, whether I agree with it or not, that asserts that a person must convert themselves committed to the adherence or simply not take part.

I grow tired of listening to complaints from people about how their sexual preference is oppressed by their religion, that their gender equality perspective is oppressed by their religion, or that their acceptance tolerance is oppressed by their religion.

Obviously, they need a new religion.

That religion they are in simply doesn’t agree with them, and I don’t think it’s right to force it to agree with them in any way.
Religion is a mindset, and if your mind doesn’t agree with that established mindset of perspectives, then you need to go get yourself one that you do agree with and work out your issues of conflicts with what you believe and what is practiced yourself.
It’s not a religions responsibility to adapt to you.

That’s like complaining to a Martial Arts instructor that the training doesn’t fit your personal physical capabilities and therefore you are oppressed by it’s demands; therefore, it should change it’s regimental core standards.

Or, that academics are too difficult and therefore the grading curve needs to be lowered.

Step up and adjust to the difficult and painful acceptances your religions demands of you to sacrifice, or leave.

I’m really tired of play dough religion.

Plato religion? :bulb:
