Cause and effect.

If Johnny jumps off a building, can we really say the root cause?

Can concerned parents really say it was because he was bullied? Can we say that being bullied led to Johnny Boy’s sex change? And can we say that led to Johnny jumping off a building?

Isn’t the root cause of why Johnny Boy Jumped Off A Building, is because Johhny Boy wanted to? I mean, you might as well say it’s dads fault for johhny jumping, because his dad had semen which impregnated his mother. So do we blame the semen? Because if there was no semen, johnny would have never jumped off that building?

How long do we prolong the inevitable, clinging to life like mindless turds? Why cant we say bullying is a good thing, because it makes his evolution faster. Perhaps bullying sped up his evolution, and because he was so evolved, jumping off a building was the next step in his evolution, like Obi Wan Kenobi, how can we say? Maybe it was in his best interest, like he was bored of earthly things, like a kid is tired of playing with abc blocks with babies. How can we say cause and effect? The cause, is that he wanted to.

I think that cause and effect is much more complicated than that - saying that he was bullied, ergo, he jumped off the building.

You need to go way way back. It’s kind of an allegorical continuum for lack of a better word/phrase.
For instance, if Johnny had had the kind of parents who taught him about himself, his worth, what he is capable of, he might have been able to handle the bullying or to just take a step back from it, ignore it…whatever.
There is no just one cause and its effect. This influences that which influences this and that. It’s like a river. Cause and effect is not a dammed up river.

No it’s not. That’s the effect of feeling he had no choice.

The true cause is that flowing river and everything which was pulled along with him along the way from the beginning.
Cause and effect is not that simple.
