I just spent some time googling and the HIV virus could be a western conspiracy 
Apparently some people are immune to the HIV virus( if they are homozygous carriers of the mutated CCR5 gene). This mutation is prelavent in northern european people, and is also present in other caucasian populations in the meditteranean, north africa and central asia. it’s thought to be related to the plague. negroes and east asians( eg chinese) don’t carry it at all. the sudden appearance of HIV in 1975 out of thin air seems to hint at a western conspiracy at the third world( the soviets warned that the americans were continuing the nazi research, eg mengele’s viral work) to combat overpopulation, or perhaps it could have an even more directly racist agenda
That hypothesis has been around for many years - it did seem to come from nowhere, but I didn’t realise that it was far back in 79: though I would have only been 10 at the time.
I’m sure that at my college we only heard about aids in 1987/88: when news of it finally broke in the UK, and talks were given about it - seeing that it wasn’t a mutation of a preceeding virus: it’s very existence was unexplainable.
