Hello everyone. I have just finished reading up on these two subjects, ranted i don’t know the all ins and outs but i feel they have a good message which i could understand. I am quite spiritual anyway but also don’t believe in God so i was just wondering what all you guys thought about these two subjects with your well learned points of view
I am moving this to the religion forum. That is where it seems to belong and it will probably enjoy a better response there. Please PM Ben, myslf, or any of the staff with any questions.
Hi Apocalypse,
I too am a very spiritual person while I don’t believe in God. I have read The Celestine Prophecy and despite horrible reviews of the book for reasons which are quite good, I nevertheless enjoyed and learned many things from the book that have really helped me in life. If you have any specific questions in reference to CP feel free to ask. Unfortunately, I haven’t read Kabballah, hence I will be unable to draw any correlations for you.
i seem to find a correlation between these two because of the “energy” in CP and the “Light” in Kabbalah. ihave also seen the same kind of idea in buddhism with emptying of the mind and in christianity as God. i think they are all getting at the same thing but all ahve different methods of achieving the best they can. i am not very well read on any of the subjects but this is what i took from first impressions anda little bit of research, sorry if it offends or is incorrect.
Did you honestly find a correlative pattern between these two books and their entirely different subjects? I am quite surprised, maybe you would care to make a more in depth annalysis of the subjects before proferring such a confident opinion? I have to admit that there may be deep rooted reflections of buddhism within the concorant practices but I wonder what you think about the exaggerated aspects of Judahism that are bound up in the theories? After all did not hyakujo say… “the enlightened man is one with the law of causation” ?
What do you think Apoc?
Messa. xx
