Chakras and the mind.

Chakras might be considered a religious concept, but I was uncertain to the placing because this is concerning their relation to the mind.

It’s interesting that software engineers for robotics are having great difficulty making an autonomous machine. A robot which does all the things humans do- such as balance, smooth speach, social empathy . . . are these technologies incomplete simply because the algorithms to achieve all this require more development . . . or is it that the engineers already believed that they would be successful, and feel stumped because they seem to be missing an important piece of the puzzle? Can human sensory and response be summarized as a cycling of electrical signals to the nervous system, processed and then delivered to appropriate muscular output? OR are there centers of the body which act as homing devices for cognitive elements? I have no proof for such a claim, but if robotics continues to have a tough time simulating human activity . . . then maybe there is merit to this afterall. If so, then what would the chakras DO, necessarily?

Well I’ll go from the bottom up and discuss their respective role, using less definition from ancient tradition and more from the perspective of a roboticist that would want to know their role in achieving a well-operable system. This is all paraphrased, I’m not assuming it’s the best interpretation. But this will be less interested in the ancient planetary / emotional phrasing and more about specific cognitive functions that a roboticist might be concerned with.

If you believe any of it, I would also insist that these are vastly untapped resources, which have been intentionally constricted to keep you in check. Even if not constricted, you may want to see if your own “autonomous robotics” can be developed further.

The ROOT chakra connects you to gravity, and thus is responsable for balance. Riding a bike, running, jumping, standing on one foot- all physical maneuvers relating to gravity are concerning the root chakra. From a roboticist viewpoint, this would deal with geometric angles on time-scales given physical constants of Earth’s gravity.

The SACRAL chakra relates to procreation / fertility. Empathy serves a great role in personal relationships, and thus is the center for personal empathy. From a roboticist viewpoint, this would deal with physical characteristics of emotional states. Facial recognition, skin coloration, pupil dialation. A human medical encyclopdedia relating symptoms to intentions.

The Solar Plexus is essentially the umbillical chord and the ancestral connection. The evolutionary role of mutation and adaptation. A roboticist might use this feature to program specific scenarios in former models to prevent a necessity of trial-and-error in the new model’s algorithms. Essentially, the new generation learned from the “old” mistakes.

The Heart Chakra . . . in some reference . . . lets the Human “draw the love of God” into self in order to manifest their creation. A more physical interpretation can be seen as the centerpoint for energy distribution and storage. A robot will normally most ideally fit its engine in this area. If there is a means to remotely draw power, it will probably be within this position to start with. It would also be an ideal central location for most networking and communications.

The Throat Chakra operates the voice box - works as the speach center so that an audible or “vibrato” output can be manufactured as a signal to others. A machine would use this to deliver data in a nonbinary way - a way of adapting the information to other information systems.

The Third Eye is the center for extra perception. This would be the main relation for interpreting physical data into semantic propositions.

The Crown Chakra is to the sky what the Root chakra is to the ground. It can relate the environment in a bird’s eye view and use astronomical data for time and global positioning.

When am I going to have my robot army ready? :sunglasses:

I would say that robotics has not made it to the full possibility of nano technology yet. What would be needed are alot of teams of people working on different nano motor and decision programming., then sub teams to begin the combining and then sub teams after that. Until the final team has to put the technological equivelent of Chakras/ parts in place. The world did not create life over night and with only one element. It took a long time and many elements. Scientists and computer programmers tend to have artist egos it makes for some difficulties. If we were created by a superior being in its image or as its children, the we should begin to put aside the fear of not playing god and start learning to be worthy to stand beside such a creature. That means we must create life and to be able to manipulate life. The first step is to evolve technology to its finest. Use technology to teach us about ourselves and to transform us.

Abilities to evolve our selves lie within us, it must or what would be the point? We could be born with the ability and the needed ways to evolve, we just do not know how or what. Techology can assist us there.

Yes, I see it this way.

Its coming just give us more time, we accidently gave them remorse and now we cant work out how to get rid of it

It is interesting that the centers of these glands were known 4000 years ago.

Archeologists are discovering that the ancients were not so ignorant as we arrogantly thought they were. They just labeled things differently and saw things in a different perspective. A chakra as a gland makes a lot of sense. Or is the gland the chakra? The purposes of the glands match pretty well to the chakras in a broad sense. Sometimes it might help to see the universe as they did. Then perhaps we could appreciate it more. Our jaded civilized views tend to blur our vision.

Many things were understood by ancient civilisations…
