Some young men come along, and are so charismatic, like Hitler, that people cannot help but follow them. The most dangerous opponent to any and every anarchist is the charisma of rare individuals, of rare men. A charismatic person, a beautiful male, cannot help but be put into a position of leadership. Other people, the masses of sheep, cannot help their own, less charismatic, ugly natures, but to hoist a charismatic man onto their soldiers. I know this is biological. It’s innate, genetically. What destroys the concept of anarchy, is beauty.
Beauty, Charisma, destroy anarchy. Because the “lesser” people, the masses, naturally follow passion…passion spawned from the beautiful, and the charismatic men.
I think what destroys anarchy by favoring government is the human longing of safety, convenience, and higher organization.
The problem of course is that most people idiotically don’t understand that those longings are the precise things that government uses to exploit them.
Government works best by exploiting people’s hopes, fears, and desires.
You can have leaders in anarchy, but they are not like dictators or even presidents. Their leadership is always dependent on approval and is limited to those areas where it works for the group. Hitler would decide what clothes people would wear and all sorts of things that were outside his baliwick - which was manipulating large groups and being aggressive. In Native American tribes leaders lost their leadership when they made poor decisions or their attitudes did not fit their tribes. It was tentative. Of course if in some anarchic society there is a need to build a bridge, someone will likely be the focal point for the project. Of course natives had much more sense of individualism and independence than the incoming Europeans and even modern ones.
