chin up

How tragic that everything in life
must eventually be forgotten.

And here we all are as close as i am to you now
and all the stars spin together

in a Universe past caring
in a world that will be empty in a
moon or two…

The Sadness will never go away.

I liked ‘in a universe past caring’ - as though it ever did…

How wonderful it is that we can focus on making a better future instead of focusing on our passed so much. Our boaring and empty days are so useless that they are quickly forgotten with time.

Technology and quality of life are still growing and do not die the way that mortal individuals do, yet are used by and are an extention of the will of the species in general. Life expectance has more then doubbled in the last 150 years if i remember correctly.

(Dan, tries to be a yea-sayer towards progress of the species.)

You wont have to worry about death once your dead,
but while your alive you can try to stop it and make the world a better place. The earth is NOT doomed at all.

Do you feel bad about individual loss?
Humanity does want to stop that someday you know,
and its not impossable is it?

“The Sadness will never go away.”

Yes, it will.

When the world ends and the universe…everything will be forgotten…will not be able to be recalled.

but my poem holds hope - ‘chin up’

if this is dying
what a wonderful way…

No, it won’t (as long as there are people, anyway).

Pleasure and pain are bi-products of goals in life.
Its all part of the working process of the species.

I know id already said this before somewere but:

By the time the sun burns out technology will be so advanced
that free energy and bio-domes will be common place.

Free energy “theories” can easily become a reality.
Im sure that technology will keep on picking up momentum,
and it’s progress will out-run the very gradual decay of matter in the universe.
