It’s not necessarily propaganda, though I dare say the writer had every intention for it to be so, rather a cartoon with an environmentalist superhero and messages! It had no political aims other than awareness…it was a discourse on pollution and unethical use of waste by corporations (at least most of the narratives ran along those lines). But at most it was a silly cartoon about goodies and badies, within the Earth/Pollution context…at most, ‘consider your environment kids’.
As far as I am aware Captain Planet ran for the elections in the U.S. and failed.

we must also look at the villians that the heros fight, superman fights only superdumb but strong characters that he over comes with superor strength, and occasionally he uses his brain. batman how ever only has his brain, and he fights some of the coolest villians ever, like joker

well first of all, i don’t believe i ever said batman fights realistic villians because realistically speaking, there are no superheroes to begin with.
however, batman does fight HUMANS that are simply more cunning and, to quote myself, “theatrical”, such as the joker, scarecrow, or the penguin. any kind of powers these people have (batman himself included) are the result of being strong (not super-strong) or having the right tools for the job.
superman’s villians, however, range from a variety of people with super-villianous-powers to the opposite of himself (lame.)
batman also fights the petty criminals like bank robbers and the like. i have yet to see superman do this (though i will admit i have not seen every superman cartoon or comic book so i can’t prove he hasn’t.)

black mask has no superpowers. he is a sadistic piece of crap with a mask made from his mother’s grave fused to his face and he killed a Robin. end of story.
the penguin is not insane, menacing, or much of anything really. he’s got an umbrella with a lot of stuff in it… it’s like james bond and his watch. but again, right tool for the job.
the joker also killed a Robin and is for all practical purposes, insane. he has bleached skin and green hair from falling into a vat of chemicals. he has no superpowers but is just as cunning as batman and ultimately, batman’s opposite.
two-face has a distinct advantage in that batman already feels immense guilt for not saving him when he fell into an acid bath, burning one side of his body. he also has no superpowers.
the riddler is quite literally brilliant. he is extremely good at what he does and is actually offended when told that his riddles are a waste of time. he’s also not posessed with any special powers or abilities.
