I would like to call myself a true christian, minus some of the madness and error.

Well, when we meet our maker, ask him what the hell is going on, and also remind him of all the people and animals you helped in your life.
Jesus was mostly on about charity. Charity should be the main focus of any christian.
Also good doctors are christian by definition, even if they do not realize it.
“Good” at what?
The traditional Christian message about what we deserve finds no merit in acts, even if they are acts of charity, but in the grace that covers all our sins.

It means we are trying to help and protect “god’s children”.
What ever made humanity, that force probably wants humanity to prosper.

Not for me, but, unconditionally. Food, healing, teaching, etc.
should we encourage helping gods children to have more gods children…in other words do we have a problem with

If the right technology were used, I think over population would be a far less serious issue.
Not all parents are responsible or sane.

Teaching virtues, general philosophy, politics, religiom, medicine, psychology, etc.

Machiavellian politics, the politics of the USA, Marxism. Cliterectomy medicine, holistic medicine, Western medicine, Traditional Chinese medicine. Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism - which sect?

Could we live in a world without charity and everyone be ok?
Perhaps caring is the thing? if say the poor weren’t poor because the philosophy was to put everyone in a position of helping themselves.
oh and doesn’t the system/capitalism* use charity to bullshit us into thinking it* is fine. It doesn’t matter about poor people and countries which capitalism makes or doesn’t help much, because they will all be rich one day, and up until then we are doing everything we can bla bla?
Don’t get me wrong its just the deceiver doesn’t seem to mind charity.
