Christians make me feel bad

Hello

Here is something I don’t understand.

How come when I meet somebody they assume that I am a Christian? Maybe it doesn’t happen to you but here it does. Always having to bullshit the God and Jesus stuff.

Also why do Christians seem to look and Atheist in a different way once the Atheist comes clean and tells them what they believe?

With the way the world around me is I am made to feel bad about my beliefs being different or not the norm.

I just don’t understand how people who participate in what I call a blind faith meaning that they don’t experience God in a physical way, can make others feel bad for not acting blindly with their beliefs?

And I feel that I know what I am talking about because I was a leader in my FCA chapter in High School.

Thanks

They do what they do and it is their lunacy but must it make you feel bad? Must the worth of your emotional life be governed by their reactions? Consider Shakespeare’s take on it:

Everybody is on stage shouting this and that and then it is all over.

When you begin to see all this from the larger perspective of our entire life, feeling bad may begin to change into a feeling of compassion.

You are definitely a much better “christian” than they are! Even if you don’t buy into all their bull, they should be open minded as a real christian should be.

Examine the reasons why they make you feel bad. Maybe you’ll get a bit surprised.
