The Stargate Project was established by the U.S. Federal Government(CIA) to investigate claims of
psychic phenomena with potential military and domestic applications. KGB had similar research on
telepathy and tried to use telepathy in their spy operations.
The Stargate Project was terminated in 1995, they could not use mind reading with big success, probably because people have
not number, when they read peoples mind they could never know from which head they was reading.
Uri Geller could confirm at Stanford that he can read peoples mind.
Vinko Rajic is talking that he can send and receive up to few kilometer .
There is brain scan online on telepathic brain in file : Brain_Scan_Images_Vinko_Rajic.zip .
Big percent of people believe in telepathy but most schizophrenics believe that they are just telepathic.
James Randi offer one million dollar to any person that can do some paranormal thing like telepathy.
Why he offer those money when millions know Vinko Rajic and about telepathic torture show.
Do you think telepathy works?
The James Randi million dollar prize is no longer running, it ran into complications, from of all people science bods who said his tests weren’t scientific enough and should of been more rigorous. What can I say, shit happens.
That said even with the tests he had, no one, not no one ever tested was actually on a level where people would say they were psychic. The question you have to ask is, were they psychic under the radar, or is being psychic a strictly non special skill that House and Derren Brown use to read idiots? Well the cold hard facts need to be tested, but they wont be tested by faith in the paranormal.
James Randi is a fraud, he’s an illusionist. You should probably read up on him. The point is is he any more of a fraud than any other person who suckers in the suckers out there? I don’t claim to know, but I sure as hell know speculation is worth nothing.
First sign of a fraud: claiming James Randi is a fraud. The guy does nothing but debunk bullshit. Calling a skeptic a “fraud” is like calling someone who has never had any kids a bad “parent”.
I just think it’s funny it was assumed one could not actually believe Randi is a fraud. Like this would have to be deception and one really knows he is not.
If you can do “magic”, do it under scientific conditions and testing. If not why should anyone waste their time with you? Seriously why even bother claiming you can do something unless you can do it in a manner that convinces the world? Might as well be James Randi, at least he was honest about being an illusionist. I for one do not doubt that there could be more to this world than is understandable by science. But claiming you are somehow possessed of powers that don’t open up to the usual channels of enquiry just makes you a crank. Pull the lead out. Do it for real, then and only then should anyone care about it. Fuck off you aint special, great claims need great evidence. Even Einstein had to wait 17 years for a Nobel prize, because he didn’t have the backing of experiment. What are we going to do, slide all the chancers through on their opinion. Screw that.
Ah, if I had a dollar for every time someone reiterated the scientific line here everyone knows and understands. Do you think you are saying something we don’t know, or do you come here to reaffirm a worldview that hasn’t been accurate in a 100 years.
Maybe if you are lucky you will catch me explainin why the (quantum) observers a given setting dictate which laws, if any, are present in physical reality.
You will never see what you are asking for in a closed setting with a bunch of skeptics encircling the supposed skeptic. It’s categorically impossible and that is why the high occultists set up things like Randi — hence why he is a fraud.
Magic isn’t for the uninitiated. The plebs like you. Everyone that understands the power is perfectly happy to allow people such as yourself to determine the extent of reality by using a council of preachers/scientists. You see a crankpot because we want you to see one. It’s no threat to us there is but one more zealot touting the safe line we’ve agreed to allow you to exist in.
In other words, let’s say I do know some magic. Why would I care about proving it to a bunch of people that, assuming magic exists, clearly are not ready and would react with aggressive fear to having the worldview turned upside down. People would revolt. People like you who are clearly not even close to ready.
To better understand this, are you saying that James Randi believes psychic phenomenon to be real, and pretends they are not? Or are you saying you believe he is mistaken?
To better understand this, just look at how the rules are worded. Or how they used to be worded… check this update out:
So if you need an academic that means that anyone who steps up will no longer by an academic (by establishment standards) which is actually funny, because if they are having to up the rules on the contest to such a degree so as to create a career trap for the corroborating academic, then clearly they are getting more desperate. I would imagine multiple people have beat the test and they have to keep covering it up, but I have no real proof of that.
But from the beginning it was categorically impossible to win. I think the rules said something like ‘If the James Randi foundation determines the person making the claim’s claim falls in line with our definition of what actually constitutes paranormal, then the applicant may win the money.’ It wasn’t that exactly but it was legally worded so they could get out of anything. The whole thing is a scam. Anyone who actually looks at it carefully will probably come to the same conclusion. I’ve been saying this for years.
