The “left” (so-called) are waiting for their chance to overturn the madness in the next mid-terms, rather than take-up arms against the TRAITOR TRUMP.
If Trump tries to further block Democracy, perhaps by stopping the Mid-term vote, then you might see the sleeping giant of the real Majority riseup against the Tyrrant Trump. But the left and the woke are generally too gentle to take up arms.
I have no idea. “The left” is an abstraction though. If he gets assassinated, which probably won’t happen, it won’t be done by “the left”, it will be done by a person. “The left” didn’t ask the previous failed shooter to shoot him.

My suspicions about ‘civil war’ though, are about how the Far-Left wing, like Antifa, can use violence to pull the centrists into their fight. It doesn’t take much, and given the levels of TDS we’ve all seen, the American Left would respond with cycles of violence for retribution if it comes to Federal agents gunning down protestors.
If we’re going to have a civil war, it’s gonna be embedded cartels/mafia types (illegal trades sorts) against whoever hates them & can actually fight back.
Nobody else has that kind of weaponry.
Or maybe people fed up with getting moved along will decide they’ve had enough & blow up a bunch of vacant, overpriced properties?
Violence can come from a few different sources…
- College campuses, universities, along with Antifa protestors, who will attack Federal agents and police, causing violent retaliation.
- Further assassination attempts upon the President’s life by the political Left
- Other politically motivated killings, assassinations, violence, like those involving foreign illegal immigrants potentially being removed from the United States and distanced from their family/children.

Leftists like FJ and Scalptor are dishonest in that they turn a blind-eye to their side’s violence, and already two attempts on the President’s life. They want to wash their hands of that, take no responsibility for what “some lunatic” does. However, their TDS is commonplace among the Left. Like Destiny in the clips above, they would celebrate in the streets if their violent goals and fantasies manifested. The American Left would roundly, distinctly celebrate if they got their way.
It’s like WWIII_Angry said some years ago after January 6th… they want to put “bullets in the heads” of their opposition. Trump also said, famously, that “they’re not after me… they’re after YOU, I’m just in their way” I tend to agree with that sentiment. The American Left wants to murder the American Right. I don’t know how exactly it came to be this way, so violently divided, but it is. And as the OP states, Civil Wars have happened before, and are parts of history. Eventually groups feel that it is worth dying for, to have their vision and ideals inflicted upon everybody else. What does the American Left believe, what do they want? Transexuals in bathrooms? Homosexuality taught to 5-year-olds? Are these beliefs, morals, ethics worth dying for??? I don’t think so.
I’m contemplating the long-term scenarios… let’s say the American Left succeeded in killing Trump. There’s a LOT of Trump supporters who LOVE President Trump. The American Rightwing might rollover and take it, like bitches, but only for a little while. Consider Barron Trump, or those closest to Trump in his own family. Wouldn’t they work for Revenge, eventually? Wouldn’t they take it personally?
How would YOU feel if your loved one were murdered over political violence? Would you want revenge? Would you fight for it?

America and Americans have a very severe problem of taking responsibility for others in Our name. Whether it’s the Native Injuns, Negro Slaves, World Wars, 9-11, whatever – you name it, and American “Individualism” acts as a buffer between our society and our participants. This is a major downfall of American Liberalism. It means that, eventually, the bill comes due, and it surprises Americans that we are “so hated”. But the logic is baked-in. How can’t we be hated, when Evil White Man is responsible for all the Evil in the world?
