Cleaning.

We’re a clean people; at least those that will be reading this. In large part the west places quite a focus on cleanliness. Think about the entire industry that is focused on cleaning related supplies; from that wink you give yourself in the mirror when you are brushing your teeth, to that kick you give yourself when you meet Mr. Clean in person and realize he aint that clean in a couple of ways.

I mean… it’s really quite extensive:

manicures,
peticures,
haircuts,
Shaving of all sorts,
waxing,
deoderant
white strips,
toothpaste,
lotion,
soap,
conditioner,
shampoo,
body wash,
disinfectant,
colon cleansing,
toilet paper,
Kleenex,
Nail Files/clippers,

We can’t get enough of being clean. And why not right? Nothing really wrong with being clean. So in this light I went to a company with a new idea. It was/is called ‘Emotion cleaning’.

You see many people have a perspective with is largely unrestrained. When events happen, their actions are dictated by loose, unpredictable emotions driven by baser instinct fear. By altering the recipient to a more calmed, centered state of mind that benefits them, and society, we can cash in on the seemingly plentiful populace willing to undergo such a process. I mean… we’re talking big money here.

Anyways, I talked to some dude named Carl R-something, he told me they’d get back to me. So I get the call today, they said and I quote,

Those Bastards.

the holistic health groups have gone down that “emotional clearing/cleansing” avenue a while ago. there are many ways they do this though, yet one more method might not be rejected by them if it is effective. and obviously the effectiveness is fairly easy to test.
“do you feel angry?”
“yes”
“angry now?”
“yes”
“still angry?”
“no”
“good, you’re cured!”

Do you think there is a control issue behind being too clean?

Data

Humans have more self-disgust than any other creature.

Portent

Human self-disgust plays a key role in human behavior and motivation.

Come on people.

This isn’t about rubbing soap on your body.

So, any other prospects?

This idea exists for a long time and it is called religion.

I wish it was though.
Instead, I guess now we have to worry about those evil soap companies…

Close.

There is a very deceiving gap between spirituality and religion.
