I clicked on this thread to read poetry too, so I think you should take your own advice that says “anyone who wants to continue with this should migrate to another section” – preferably another site. Fair? Good.

Firstly, this is a creative writing forum, not a poetry-only forum, so you shouldn’t expect to see poetry in every thread (in the thread you quoted me from, Phaedrus explicitly asked for poems, hence my comment there).
Secondly, what’s wrong with my post? I for one like “short and sweet” lighthearted prose. This forum is full of stuff that any given person won’t like, so my advice to you is to do what I do and just move on when you read something you don’t like. What’s the point in having a go??
