Thanks for this post. It is increasingly difficult to find people such as yourself that actually give (reduced beyond philosophy and religion) Taoism its due credit, without destroying it with “New Age” spin. I came to Taoism from western philosophy. As a “so-called-dualist” eastern philosophy, it is less so than trying to ground oneself in non-contradiction.
