None of us consented to be born here, and shame on every parent for not atoning for this sin by making sure we had an ethical way out of here from birth onwards, shame on society.
I already did atone for it… I tried to move you to a different reality. In fact, I have atoned for all of my sin and I’m the first person on earth to do it, so I actually know what I’m talking about.

You don’t remember making that decision, but you don’t absolutely know that for sure. Imagine, there you are at the end of your previous existence then you die and are in a void. You would probably want there to be a world to go to? What if there is only the universe, infinity [the void] and observers/consciousnesses?
Go get consent then.
Consent like free will is a fluid thing. the world probably don’t require it for most things, being causal n all. God - if existent, manifests things via ‘the word’, and so consent is his.
still the same problem with the changing of ones mind [right to die and freedom to choose generally]. it also assumes choice isn’t made retrospectively ~ via wisdom and experiential knowledge. where many people [suicidal esp] may choose to die even if before life chose life.
This is a great topic. Consent is, in fact, everything.
The key is to locate that area of your existence where your consent rules.
Find it, and you find everything, you find where your soul should live.
Find where you rule, maybe it’s values, will, thought.
And if you don’t technically rule, so what. As it long as it feels like you rule,
that’s all that matters. It is the sensation of power, choice, control that I think you seek.
Find that range of motion where you are 100% in charge, and live there as much as possible.
And of course, as soon as you became old enough to commit suicide, every second on this planet
has been passing with your implicit consent.
It’s impossible to consent to something since consciousness-wise we slipped in with a tabula rasa.
Like many things in life, we know through hindsight unfortunately. But I for one can say I would have still consented anyway had I known…though I wqouldn’t mind deleting certain day.
I wouldn’t say we are complete tabula rosa… we know how to nurse, and we pick up language. My issue here is not with suicide, I don’t think suicide is bad, my issue is with the things that cause it… the suffering and agony that goes beyond, that’s indicative of hell on earth. I don’t think like gamer says that we consent to everything before if we suicide… suicide is a vote out of here, probably from long suffering that will never be consented to. I’m just really mad at people that they don’t make consent to life a priority.
Here they complain about war and rape and torture, serious issues of consent, yet they don’t even offer their children a means out of here. Not everyone is the same, not everyone wants to be here. I’ve said on these boards before that I met a woman who attempted suicide 3 times and was suicidal because she could not fly… so we as a society, to keep this woman from agony need to figure out how to levitate ourselves. Suicide always informs where we should be going, it is the ethical drive of society here.
I hate to be simplistic here, but there is a key concept we have conveniently omitted.
Knowledge comes from experience, as the cliche goes, and that is why parenting is by most part, a young persons preoccupation. They want to learn it on their own, since they figure, their own parenting by their parents was pretty well a botched up job.
parents usually have not come to the age of reason, where they can appreciate the idea of consent, maybe only tangentially in connection with sexual consent. If it wasn’t for the young, humanity would not survive.
Everyone knows that people didn’t consent to being born, we know because they commit suicide, and because of this, everyone knows that not everyone who’s born here wants to be here.
It’s sheer narcissism and issues of abandonment that keep people from making suicide permissible… it is actual evil. That’s like 10 billion evil parents and activists. That’s how evil our species is. I ask people to turn off the blinders, but they choose to keep them on for some reason.
Consent Ec, has to coincide with a reasonable understanding of what it entails. The fact that this is not happening is proof positive that only those parents beget, who do not have this kind of understanding. (There are exceptions, who have special, philosophical understanding of the meaning and content of con sensuality, but these have had used theories such as implied consent)
Implied consent means in this context, is based on the idea, that within say a sample group of X number of people, most would not opt for suicide Asa way out.
The back up of this idea may stem from many facts.
Here is a list of some of them.:
Some people develop faith ,based on the idea of evolutionary goals.
Some may feel that they have a moral obligation to pay back at least some benefits begotten, from others. The corollary to that is the idea that no human being alive had not incurred some debt in their lifetime. this debt can be looked as merit, or karma based.
If the above two are nihilized then creation or the evolutionary process itself would not be possible, since no future regeneration would or could re-create, and no new beginning could be possible.
if the above, (#3) would be the case, and it could conceivably not, then You would not be able to ask this question.
therefore suicide is not an adequate or even a possible solution to the problem.
