Luke awakened from the comfortable peace of sleep one morning with an uncharacteristic grogginess. As he rolled out of bed, and his slipper hit what usually is the floot, he shrieked in pain and his body collapsed to the floor. His foot was caught in a bear-trap and he wished he had stayed in bed.
A fox chased three rabbits in the distance. Where am I?
Just then there was a thunderous crush from behind him. A mime was pushing over trees in the forest to see if they would make sounds, subsequently, one of these trees landed on the bear trap and forced it all the way closed to make for a clean amputation. For the next twelve days Luke ate acorns while widdling a wodden leg out of the tree which had landed on his leg before going along his merry way.
Luke simply stated, “Violence is not the answer.” But unfortunately the brutish leg-polisher wouldn’t listen to logic. He heartlessly murdered Luke with a spoon.
On the bright side, Luke was reincarnated into a Pterodactyl, and took to the sky, searching for adventure.
“Can this be true? Is this just a dream?” asked Luke. “How is it that I find myself to be a pterodactyl AND my own leg-polishing murderer?!?”
A clear but sourceless voice answered: “No. This is not a dream. This is truly happening.”
With a loud crack of thunder a form appeared; it was Luke/Alowishus’s spirit guide, who appeared in the form of Benny hill. “Come Alowishus Devadander, we have a long journey ahead”.
And so began their long and perilous journey which was aided by the classic song, “Yakkety Sax”.
