Creator's mannerisms seen in whole creation? Reason & Go

Reason & God:

Firstly, I must say that, as always, this is an “if”. “If” there is “a God”, or, more accurately, if vast natural forces have some sort of Will & desire, then I’d estimate about what that Will would be.

One should judge the Creator, not by “His” words but by “His” actions.

The age of the universe shows that God is not all-powerful, because God cannot cause instantly.

Mass extinctions in earth’s history show that God does not protect life for whatever reason.
If life is all “imperfect”, then its Creator is also “imperfect”, because you cannot get blood from a stone, and you cannot get “perfection” from “imperfection”.

Some of the life God made – kills other life that God made. This shows that each species goes by one law: “Do what thou Wilt.”

The wolf sinks its teeth into its own flesh.

And then the wolf says:

“Welcome to self-deconstruction. Be careful with that surgical mentality of yours.”

Couldn’t you use the same logic to say that every aspect of the universe that could be different shows that God is not all-powerful? The sky is blue because God is not all-powerful and cannot make it green. Then everything has the potential to be proof of God’s limited power.

If I was absolutely powerful, I would use that strength to efficienty make my Will manifest instantly.

If God’s will was always manifested instantly, then everything would be as God wanted it. This would either mean God is pantheistic, or “He” is limited in his effects.

So an all-powerful God is an efficient God? What if God’s will is the entire process, each tiny segment a realization of that will?

By the way, thanks for the super-fast reply.

When you make a painting, it takes time, but that’s because your speed [the amount you can accomplish in a set time] – is limited. If God has infinite everything, why would he sanction himself towards a gradualism, or if he is outside of timespace itself, instant creation to him, is a billion years to us, and as we watch it unfold in part, “He” already can see all that ever was, is and will be?

Dealing with a God in absolutes isn’t simple, especially when “He” was supposed to have a personality, or character, otherwise known as bais or preferance…?

I do what I can.

One should judge everything by its actions.

Words are controlled by the Will and can be faked or controlled.
Words are often cheap and one need not live up to them.

Actions are instinctive. Projections of what is, often before consciousness can control, divert and mask them.
Actions have a price. One always faces the consequences of his actions and lives up to their repercussions.

Judge not a creator by his stated intent; judge him by his actual creation.
There is nothing more honest or direct.

Glad to see someone agrees with me. +)

not by its actions but reason it takes those actions.

and one should judge a creation on how well it does what it was intended to do.

we dont know gods intent so who are we to judge his creation ?

Dan i think youre wrong.

God wants a bunch of temporary madness?
