You may never speak of or to me again Satyr that is why I’ve devoted this thread to object and criticizing some of your ongoing posts. Think of me as your invisible critic that you may choose to ignore entirely. You may choose to keep on ignoring but I’ll never forget the good old days of ILP where we once walked in the inner halls together. Those were the days.

Yes it’s on some profile he made someplace. I’ve seen it before. His name is like some weird combination of letters and sounds Greek. It makes sense…failed state…failed philosophy…failed internet troll. He’s just a sad fat old man who’s wife probably doesn’t know he’s as weird as he actually is. I feel sorry for his children. If I saw him in the street, I would probably beat him up and turn out his pockets just to prove a point about dominance and how it has nothing to do with writing poems about history to express sexual frustration and an inability to cope. The bubble that he lives in is so small that at first you feel sorry for him, then you start to think…anyone in a bubble that small is so intentionally. So then you just start to realize that he’s a coward who’s only motivated by fear. Then you start to realize that there is almost no substance to anything that he says. It’s literally 80% ad hom, 10% misunderstanding or misrepresentation of history, and then 10% incoherent expression of opinion. Total fucking garbage.
I do not know whether it is his real photo or not but i do not agree with your opinion about him.
Though, i never had a direct conversation with him but i have been read a lot of his posts when i was active on the board of Philosophy Now.
He seems to be quite knowledgeable in Philosophy, far more than an average internet philosophy forum poster. One may agree or disagree with his opinions but that does not mitigate his knowledge of philosophy. He made some valid and important points, though i personally do not agree much with him. He also wrote a very long and extensive essay on Scribed, which comprises his whole perception about different notions. Though, i do not have the exact URL of that right now.
Furthermore, he is a very good and fluent writer and has the capacity of writing pages and pages relentlessly. The only problem with him that he is too arrogant and tends to get personal very soon with those who try to refute him.
Then, all of a sudden, his all philosophically learned decency vanishes and his language and tone become insulting and abusive to such extent that is unacceptable. Though, he his writing skills excel more when he becomes angry.
Let us not commit the same mistake that he does too often.
When someone tells me that they think he knows alot of philosophy, it makes me think that they do not know much philosophy. At best, he’s a historian who cherry picks history for things that flatter his view. There is literally no philosophical content to his rants. If you think there is, I would love for you to point it out to me. His prose is captivating to a lot of people who haven’t seen a lot of good prose. And his use of obscure language can make a reader feel as though he knows things they do not, but seriously man…take the whole work for what it is. If you’re having to work to justify it, then it’s probably not gonna hold up on it’s own. The guy is an articulate racist. He’s a waste of education. If he took his nonsense into any university in the world…he would be laughed right out of the building. He knows it, they know it, most people know it.
Satyr worships the aristocracy and order. He fetishizes power. He’s a conventional nihilist.
Me? I worship and promote chaos. I myself and my perceptions of things are the anti thesis of order. I despise the aristocracy. I find comfort in the crazy, deranged, outcasts, and the absurd.
The nihilism I promote is chaotic and unconventional.
Satyr tries to tame nihilism. I don’t want to tame it. I want to let it loose, wild, and have it be feral.
I want to set it loose on the entire world instead of it just being a contained perception of a few aristocratic elites.
