Your deep thought of the day
On the forum
Who’s it for anyway
It’s a form of decay
It’s okay cause you’re playing
the game that you came here to
play and you play
and you play some more
and you’re keeping score
but the buzzer never rings
and they’re on to other things
dear thinker
you didn’t have to change your mind
you didn’t have to mind your change
playing it strange
and making it rhyme
dear thinker
take your time
the legends will come
with a pledge of allegiance to
to something
mainly German or French
and the system they weave
is so hard to believe
soon you’re suffering
from the germs and the stench
but you see that soon
you will be immune
cause you will refuse to play
but on that fateful day
dear thinker
you didn’t have to change your mind
you didn’t have to mind your change
playing it strange
and making it rhyme
dear thinker
take your time
nice.
I like this part. Its sassy. The oblivious protest that only some guy from St. Louis could say…sixty years after fat man and little boy blew half the population of the communist ideology off the planet. Much more efficient than the small-pox virus and a bottle of moon-shine, though. My how technology has progressed…
What is it… rap lyrics? Im guessing by youre name that you like Rage Against the Machine, but thats a simple guess.
Soon to appear against a bouncy brit melody

Being the reluctant producer and manager of the bizartiste that is Rage M3, I have humbly submitted the song version of this ILP tome above to Ben in the hopes that he might disseminate it in the same way he did with the “I Love You ILP” song Rage sent in a few weeks ago. ILP Rock is a new genre, and one I’d assume you’d all be interested in, even if Rage’s production is skeletal and homemade. It’s yours. One highlight is that Rage actually speaks names of members, which is strange, because while you hear the names in your minds’ ear every day, actually hearing them or speaking them is an odd feeling, like waking up from a dream mid-sentence and finishing the sentence out loud and feeling foolish.

Dear all,
I received a package through the post with a CD in it and a note with the words “Rage M3: II” on it. It seems to be the song associated with the above lyrics.
Have a listen, it’s great! ilovephilosophy.com/dearthinker.m4a
