Defining what is 'True' Beauty

It seems like you take a position similar to the way @Jakob & @Zeroeth_Nature do. How are each of your positions distinct and where do they overlap?

Very rational response but a completely unreasonable and incomprehesible take on beauty.

Sorry…did it not tickle your romantic idealism?
Did it not trigger your emotions?
Did it not inspire your desire to be loved for who you are?

“Beauty is whatever is in style.”
Social construct.
This is Americanism.
Everything is reduced to a style…fashion…an abstraction that can be bought and sold, modified, then recycled.
Like race/ethnicity, sex/gender…a product of the marketplace.

It is so freaking ironic (hilarious) how you provoke (trigger) people into using their reason.

What is this … some sort of death logotherapy?

I like it.

Very few have the constitution to be true philosophers, Catty Woman.

Very few can endure the objective truth…

I know I sure don’t/can’t.

I know…other than your pussy…cats…you care only about your unsubstantiated mythologies.

I just came here to drop this link:

You are a dirty, nasty spy.

…because you’re too much of a coward to decrease the distance.

So you throw out word bombs.

Who sinks what floats their boat? Who even does that?

You’re not a provocateur, you’re a saboteur.

A sad one.

A sad saboteur.

I cry. I mourn. I don my black beret I don’t own.

I am Satyr…bursting your naive bubbles.

Nature is unforgiving.
Nature is unjust.
I know…

Now, how will you deal with it?
That is what defines you.

You freely chose delusion and lies.
That defines you, catty woman.

Silenus out and about…

The accurate appreciation of beauty - symmetry proportionality indicating fitness - was crucial to life.
Why?
Because life in natural environments cannot afford to waste energies on investments that will likely fail.
So, appreciating what is more likely to succeed was crucial.

Physical and mental symmetries - proportions indicating functionality - hip to waist or chest ratios…skin and hair textures…and on and on…
All appreciated subconsciously.

You this guy? The system says the body is too short? Don’t listen to the system.

PS. Muting this thread.

I always imagined you looking like that. He looks annoyed that death hasn’t taken him yet.

Theoretically moral is just as stale as telomeres or other such nonsense lel

Finding the Key isn’t as impressive as finding the door when you’ve got that key. Yet inventive ways of imagination run wild these days so might as well Rage while you’ve got your youth.

Beauty is where you see, hear, touch, taste, smell, feel it. True beauty is when someone else experiences it too.

I feel myself everyday Felix lel

  • Beauty as a “Basic Good”: In John Finnis’s framework, aesthetic experience (beauty) is one of the seven foundational human goods that law should protect, promoting human flourishing.

  • The “Argument from Beauty”: This perspective suggests that the sheer aesthetic appeal and order of nature point toward a deeper, intelligent structure or creator.

  • “Beauty in everything” means finding inherent worth, joy, or wonder in all aspects of life, not just the conventionally attractive, by shifting perspective to appreciate the mundane, imperfections, resilience, and kindness in the ordinary world, transforming your experience through gratitude and presence, as exemplified by quotes from figures like Confucius and Helen Keller. It’s a mindset shift to find richness in simple details like a sunrise, a stranger’s gesture, or even a challenging moment, fostering inner peace and happiness.

  • Subjectivity: Beauty is subjective, and this practice involves finding your own meaning in things, even “ugly” or ordinary ones.

  • “Embrace the mundane”: See the extraordinary within the ordinary. Look past and you shall witness true satisfaction from what you may not have known even existed.

Beauty in two contexts:

Physical symmetry/proportionality, indicating health and fertility - resistance to entropy and parasites.

The 7/10 rule - hip to waist in females and hip to chest in males ratio.

And mental symmetry, indicating psychological stability, intelligence, creativity, adaptability, pattern recognition etc.

Yes.

There is a slider, when people are at max Love, everything is beautiful, when they are at min Love nothing is beautiful.

Most people are imbetween of course. In the imbetween of the slider then there are criterions which determines what is beautiful and what isn’t.

It is easier to define what is ugly, than to define what is beautiful.

But I believe aero curves are beautiful, what makes women beautiful is the aero curves… this is defined by mathematics, curve continuity, C0, C1, C2 levels of continuity…

I think there is more than curve continuity but overall flow, harmony…

I think some aspects of men’s bodies look retarded, even some male models, for example this shape looks retarded, lacks curve flow, lacks harmony…

^ This looks like a bulge, looks retarded, almost like a bulging tumor or something, it lacks overall streamlined coherence.

^ this looks smoother but also retarded, same bulge issue.

Females (or males on estrogen) the fat just goes to hips and breasts, mitigating the issue.

Women have problems of their own (such as saggy breasts) but I can’t show it because of brainwashed Westerner cultural norms.
