i was wondering what was the major difference between destiny and vocation?
I think that destiny is what is meant to happen. It is imposed to a human being when he gets born and that it is related to religion. But vocation is more or less determined by yourself (during your childhood) and that it relies on your liberty.

Hi, rhyth. I think you’re close enough. I know little french. Does each of these words have a distinct translation in french? Is there a word in french that sometimes means one and sometimes the other? Your english is a lot better than some native-speakers hereabout, by the way.
thanks, I have a good teacher (friends the sitcom lol). We do have two different translations
destiny = destinée
vocation = vocation
but now the meaning has changed and just a few people know that these two words are related.
