Yup, I’m still here.
I was hated 3 years ago, thanks to a small clique who started a rumour about me being a badger baiter. I was getting ~4 PMs a day saying things like “evil, cruel man” and “badger hater”. It was even suggested that my chimney sweeping tools have got brushes at one end and baiting coils at the other. Of course, it was all a lie, and the clique eventually came clean.
You soon find out who your friends are when people accuse you of badger baiting.
that doesnt make sence for 2 reasons:
#1 unless people really love badgers(in your area,and not all people in ILP are from your area) or unless they are an indangered species(i dont know if they are) why would they hate you any more than someone who kills rabbits?
also i figured that term ‘badger baiter’ was some kind of metaphor at first.
#2 you joined ILP in december at 2005. you’ve not even been here a year,under this account anyway.
whoops. this is after i found out what it was. well that excludes the first question. 
This has me worried. I like a llittle ‘perverted pleasure’ too but, in my case, badgers aren’t involved. Is the law the same for beavers?

You guys remember Iron Dog? Even his momma didn’t like him.
Being in the unfortunate position of moderating Iron Dog, I’d have to give him top spot., not because others haven’t been a problem child for a period, but nothing as intense as the Iron Dog experience. At one point, there were three threads running about his behavior. The easiest way to inspire dislike in ILP is to totally disregard the opinions of others. Probably that is because opinion of one sort or another is our medium of exchange.
When it comes down to it, people are liked or disliked because of attitude,not the content of their posts.
I think Iron Dog is still around , well , the person behind his persona at least

PoR is/was harmless, can’t be truly hated.
Infamous whitelotus was a non-religious PoR, or a profanely mean D-nami-s - he was clearly very smart and well-read…the most deplorable in ILP history. His ad homs were curt and bitchy as he denounced your most innocent assertions. And there was always ALWAYS enough truth in his insults to make you lash out angrily in defense, and your blows would never land - he was robotically consistent in tone and manner. Making him one of the most interesting posters. He was a legend among legends.
Greedy Dick and Pennis were two well written hecklers who were utterly soulless assholes. Iron Dog was a nitwit but wrote with the unsettling confidence of a cult leader and rightfully inspired hate.
