I got something for us to discuss…
A few years ago i designed a machine which would allow for the extraction of the lost treasure of Oak Island.
You’re welcome to do all the research you like on the subject, but i’ll give you a crash course…
Basically, on a small island there is a hole (was a hole) roughly 8 feet in diameter and some 200 feet deep.
In the late seventeenth century a man found a mysterious hole covered in wood. Above the hole there was a tree and wynch so the hole was obviously man made and used for something. The discoverer instantly had visions of pirate gold (this was the age of privateers and also the place). He returned some time later with 2 other men and they began digging. They spent the whole day digging and found a series of wooden planks spaced around 6 feet apart. The hole was covered at various depths by these wooden planks (logs), so they had to brake through them They broke through a few of the planks and then retired for lunch. They had only dug around 16 feet but when they returned the hole was completely flooded with water… Despite their attempts to bail the water, it mysteriously would refill itself.
Ever since then people and organisations have attempted to reach the bottom of this “money pit”. Rumor and legends have surrounded the island; apparently they found a stone with an inscription which said that 3 million pounds were buried 200 feet deep.
Countless drill attempts have been made, but the hole fills with water before they can do anything.
There is a rumor that one of their drill heads came up with gold shavings, but along with the mysterious stone, both were lost.
They discovered what have been called “flood tunnels”. Deep in the hole (at varying depths including 160 feet roughly) flood tunnels were found (man made) which lead from the tunnel on a rising slope toward the ocean.
What this does is allow water from the surrounding ocean to directly flow into the hole. It is believed that when the original diggers broke the wodden planks which divided the out of place heavy clay, they broke some sort of pressure seal.
Since the air could then escape through the top of the hole, sea water was allowed to flow in from the bottom, thwarting any attempt at getting at getting there
There is no conclusive proof that there is treasure at the bottom of the money pit, but what we do know is that it’s hard to get there…
They tried closing off the the flood tunnels, it turns out the rock is so porous that the water flows in anyway (at incredible rates.
Many many attempts have been made on the treasure, there has been more than one life lost.
One sound method was devised by a university student a few years ago. The plan was to drill tiny bore holes in a circle around the hole and pump in super cooled brine water to freeze everything. The problem is this would cost arond 11 million dollars and no one is even sure that the treasure is there…
I have proposed a more cost effiecient solution…
Think of taking a drinking glass, turnnig it upside down, and plunging it underwater in your kitcken sink… The pressure from the top pushes the water down, and the air is trapped in the glass…
I propose a similar endevor where something like a giant upside down drinking glass is constructed. The glasses bottom (top) will have a sealable door which can allow people top pass through.
It will work by being hydrolically forced into the ground. Once a critical depth is reached, a tubular extension will be stacked on the bottom (top) of the contraption with the lower door sealed. once the attatchement is secure, another seal will be created on the top which creates an air lock between the sealable door on the drinking glass and the surface…
This will continue like a drilling operation with more extensions added to compensate for depth… In short it will provide access to the bottom of the money pit (dry access). Though it will be under pressure, i believe it is one of the only ways to actually conquer the bottom of the money pit.
Here is a drawing of it i did a few years ago…

what i want to know and discuss is the potential for success and all and any technical aspects…
