I don’t know if there are astronomers here but to keep it simple, are all stars the same besides their size? I sometimes read about neutron stars, how do these “work”? And how is that different from the sun?
More-or-less. All identified stars are or were big ol’ fusion reactors.
Neutron stars are the remnants of other stars. Because of the type of collapse that occurred, they are comprised almost entirely of neutrons.
Ah, thank you.
