Do we abolish the freedom to disobey to put an end to crime?

Is that the idea? How can we keep the freedom of choice, and stop crime? Is that even possible?

Any ideas?

stop everybody from hurting someone else. if everyone followed it, and we started out in a world where everyone considered everyone else equal*, nobody would want to break it.

*(equally non-deserving of pain. we all know that almost everybody is inferior to us in some way)

We don’t have freedom of choice

We can’t have freedom of choice (it’s a metaphysical notion rather than an empirical possibility)

We wouldn’t want it even if we did have it
